Job Description

The Political Nursery under the Buraaq Association aims to stimulate social and political change in theyouth of Pakistan. To do so, the political nursery will teach politics, constitution, and history to all those ready to become the leaders of tomorrow. This body will work under the aegis of the President of Buraaq Association and the appointed head of the Political Nursery.

As for the constitution there will be 4-5 members divided into different committees having weekly deadlines covering the constitution that has been separated into 9 sections.

As for Politics, an interactive way of teaching politics would be devised once the body is officially formed along with its members.

And lastly, for relevant history the Political Nursery will not resort to traditional ways of teaching history through timelines. Rather history would be taught through historical figures, irrespective of the timeline.

Internship Information

Political education aims to develop the next generation of leaders by educating them about politics and their rights. During this internship, we will go over the Pakistani constitution, hold webinars, hold a youth parliament, and do a lot of other things that will alter your perspective and give you new strength to change Pakistan.

Internship time period: 1 to 3 months

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling tasks set out by Head
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Performing research 
  • Fulfill agreed upon time commitments

  • Conduct oneself in a responsible and professional manner

  • Establish and maintain informal, friendly working relations with the other interne
  • Work under pressure
  • You won’t receive a certificate if you leave your internship before it’s finished
